To maintain the highest standard of training in the industry, our entire team participates in quarterly staff development meetings, ensuring absolute consistency in our technique across every single class. We also remove the guesswork from your athlete's development through our custom evaluation system—co-developed by our Owner and Head Tumbling Coach—allowing parents to easily track and celebrate their child's progress.

Beyond offering elite training in all levels of competitive cheer and tumbling, we bring our community together with ninja classes, open gyms, unforgettable birthday parties, and exciting events like movie nights and Taylor Swift parties! While we love building strong athletes, we are even more passionate about building strong people. At HCA, your athlete will learn life-long core values like leadership, accountability, and what it truly means to be a great teammate.

Tumbling!
At Hession Cheer Academy, we believe that perfect technique is non-negotiable. We focus heavily on strong body shaping, which leads to beautiful, clean tumbling characterized by straight legs, locked-together feet, and pointed toes. By teaching athletes exactly how to engage the correct muscles, we build powerful, safe tumblers from the ground up.
Everything starts with a flawless vertical handstand. From there, we master strong front handsprings, which directly translate into explosive round-offs. A technically correct round-off is the engine of a tumbler—it provides the exact power and momentum your athlete needs to safely execute back handsprings, flips, and twists in higher levels.

SKILLS
Celebrated!
At HCA, we love celebrating the moments when hard work pays off! Whenever an athlete masters a brand-new skill, we make sure the entire gym knows it. Our instructors will call out our signature cheer, "Hooty Hooty Who!"—and the entire gym pauses what they are doing to cheer, applaud, and celebrate that athlete's breakthrough. To keep the celebration going at home, the athlete is awarded a personalized New Skill Certificate to proudly show off to family and friends!

Space!
When designing the Hession Cheer Academy floor plan, our absolute priority was ensuring every athlete has the dedicated space required to safely achieve their goals. Our state-of-the-art facility offers an unmatched array of training zones, including two full-size competitive cheer spring floors, two additional spring floor panels, and over six panels of dead mat.
We are also proud to house two of the longest Tumbl Traks available—yes, you read that right! HCA features two 60-foot Tumbl Traks, each equipped with a 14-foot safety pit at the end. That is 74 feet of continuous, high-level training space. To put that into perspective: the diagonal corner-to-corner distance of a standard competitive cheer floor is only 68 feet. We built our gym to give your athlete the runway they need to soar!

Environment!
To ensure a focused, safe, and productive environment, our gym floor is reserved exclusively for athletes (with the exception of our Mommy & Mingo classes). Limiting distractions on the floor allows our athletes to fully lock in and achieve their goals! Parents, you won't miss a thing—we have five comfortable viewing rooms equipped with live camera feeds so you can relax and cheer on your athlete from the screen!
